The Prosecutor of Turin sends to court Hugo dos Santos Aveiroolder brother Cristiano Ronaldo. The counterfeiting of 13,000 black and white shirts is being examined.
Older brother Ronaldo is accused of fraud against the Turin company Pegaso, with which he had an agreement to make the CR7 Juve shirts. The trial had begun in 2019, but now the Turin prosecutor’s office has closed the investigation, indicting the brother of the Portuguese champion on charges of forging over 13,000 black and white shirts with Ronaldo’s name and number.
The hearing will be held on June 20, will determine whether or not there was a deception against Pegasus. The T-shirts, first manufactured and later discovered to be counterfeit, have become prime targets in a civil suit because they don’t match the original ones made by Adidas.
