“Talalaev will not pull the return of Khimki to the RPL” – Smorodskaya
The former president of Lokomotiv, Olga Smorodskaya, does not believe in the return of Khimki near Moscow under the leadership of Andrey Talalaev to the RPL in one season.
Khimki lost their chances for the play-offs after PARI NN’s victory over Sochi in the 28th round of the WORLD RPL. The team scored 18 points in 28 rounds and is in 15th place in the standings.
– Initially, I did not believe in Talalaev. Therefore, it is not surprising that he could not help the team stay in the RPL.
Can he bring Khimki back? No, he won’t pull. Especially in one season. I don’t trust this specialist. This is my opinion,” said Smorodskaya Sport24.
Khimki returned to the RPL at the end of the 2019/20 season, when they took second place in the FNL. Since then, the Moscow Region club has played in the top division of the Russian championship for three seasons in a row.
