“There was no provocation from Roshi, the red card should be canceled” – Mostovoy
Former midfielder of the Russian national team Alexander Mostovoy believes that CSKA defender Willian Rocha did not deserve a red card in the match of the 28th round of the WORLD RPL with Spartak.
The match of the 28th round of the WORLD RPL took place on May 21 and ended with the victory of the Red-Whites with a score of 2: 1. Spartak forward Alexander Sobolev, after one of the martial arts in the second half, showed an obscene gesture to the CSKA player Roche, pointing to his groin. After that, Rocha appealed to the referee and repeated the obscene gesture to the linesman. Sobolev was sent off in the 66th minute for an obscene gesture towards the opponent, Rocha for an obscene gesture towards the podium and the assistant referee.
– Evidence of “Spartacus”? There was no provocation from Roshi. He just goes and adjusts his shorts, and Sobolev is 15 steps away from him. I watched the video several times and did not see any provocation.
Roshi’s red card needs to be canceled to be fair. As for Sobolev’s punishment, I don’t know. There are people who decide. They have everything spelled out, they get money for it – let them figure it out, – Mostovoy told the Championship.
