The general director of Baltika refused to comment on the situation with the extension of Ignashevich’s contract

Baltika CEO Kirill Volzhenkin declined to comment on information about a possible extension of the contract with head coach Sergei Ignashevich.
– Are Baltika and Ignashevich close to signing a new contract? We will let you know as soon as there is official information. Not ready to comment at this time. Is there something preventing this? No. I just don’t want to talk about it now,” Volzhenkin told Sport24.
Ignashevich was appointed head coach of Baltika in October 2021. Previously, his team secured access to the WORLD RPL next season.
Baltika takes the second place in the standings of MELBET-First League, one point behind Rubin Kazan.
