Alexander Shuplyakov, the first coach of striker Artyom Dziuba, commented on the extension of the football player’s contract with Lokomotiv.

On Thursday, Dziuba signed a new contract with the Red-Greens until the end of the 2023/24 season with the possibility of an extension for another season. The representative of the football player Leonid Goldman told Match TV that the main motivation for Dziuba is to win a trophy with the railway workers.

– If Dzyuba made such a decision, then it is correct. Today Lokomotiv is his team! I just silently rejoice for Artem. He found his team, everything works out for him. I think that next season Lokomotiv will compete for the highest places in the Russian championship, ”Championship” quotes Shuplyakov.

In November 2022, Dziuba terminated the contract with the Turkish club Adana Demirspor, for which he had been playing since August. In February, the striker became a Red-Green player. For the team, he played 11 matches in all competitions, scored eight goals and assisted partners four times.
