Torpedo head coach Josep Clotet, after losing to Orenburg in the 29th round of the RPL WORLD, said that the chief referee Yan Bobrovsky should have shown only one yellow card to the black and white defender Artem Samsonov.
The meeting was held on Saturday in Moscow and ended with the victory of “Orenburg” with a score of 3:1. Two goals against the hosts were scored from the penalty spot. In the 75th minute, Bobrovsky removed Samsonov from the field, showing him a second yellow card.
– I think that Samsonov should have received only one yellow card, not two. There was no such contact, the Orenburg player screamed, and the referee reacted to this. In total, we have three significant mistakes against us. We continued to attack, we could equalize, but the opponent caught us and scored the third. This was our only mistake.
If we compare these penalties with the Italian championship, then they would not have put this there. I don’t understand how Torpedo can be punished like that when there are so many cameras, VAR replays, but we still get penalties. This is just my opinion. I respect the judges, they made such a decision, – the Match TV correspondent reports Clotet’s words.
Orenburg head coach Marcel Lichka believes that the first penalty was delivered correctly.
– It’s good that we won. Scored two goals from the penalty spot. The first one is 100%, the second one I did not see, but there was a hand on the repeat. Thank God that it happened, – said Lichka.
