The head coach of Krylia Sovetov, Igor Osinkin, said that the Samara club is experiencing problems after conceding goals in the last matches of the season in a difficult tournament situation.
On Sunday, the Wings were defeated by the Voronezh Fakel in the match of the 29th round of the WORLD RPL with a score of 1:2. Osinkin’s team scored 29 points and is 13th in the standings of the Russian Championship.

– We conceded the first goal, and Fakel closed down, exerted pressure in certain areas, it was very difficult to control the ball. The pitch didn’t allow us to be reliable, so we didn’t play our own game, we tried, but we had to change our style, especially in the second half. We agreed to simplify the game because we stopped expecting to be able to reliably move the ball the way we wanted it to.
– Not a single team that played here is satisfied with the quality of their game. Yes, the hosts did not always win, but the difficult field prevents everyone from combining, but in our case for sure. The key episode of the defeat is that we concede quickly, and it’s hard to recoup when we are under pressure from the position in the standings, when the ball rolls the wrong way. I will say that there was no satisfaction even with some episodes.
– How hard is it for the team to play after the losses of Pinyaev and Glushenkov? It seems that you still have not digested the departure of the leaders.
– The teamwork in the attack has gone a little, we can’t rebuild in any way. Plus Yezhov can’t get cured. The early replacement was due to the fact that he only trained for one day. We protect him. We understand that we have lost people who have been adapted, but still we need to move on, forgetting about those who left. I would not like to excuse myself in this way, and for the conversation to go in this direction, ”Osinkin said at a press conference.
The Fakel head coach Vadim Evseev noted the support of the fans, which helped win the Wings.
– Responsibility put pressure on two teams, the fans helped us. It’s nice that we did not give such an attacking team space when playing ahead. We made them play a long pass, it’s good. We did not allow Samara to play the best trump cards. We made one mistake: (Midfielder Mohamed) Brahimi was already full, he was beaten by (Wings midfielder Benjamin) Garre and crossed from the flank. We didn’t finish this moment.
– We hope that this is the last home press conference this season. Is there an understanding of the line-up for next season?
– Well, you do not run ahead of the locomotive. We have not yet solved the main problem. While difficult. The sports director (Kirill) Kotov has plans, but we have not yet solved the tournament tasks. Sports management is doing this, but we are not worried.
– After your arrival, Fakel has already won three times. What did you change?
