Bulgarian Khimki player Kotev called RPL one of the strongest leagues in Europe

The Bulgarian midfielder of Khimki, Lachezar Kotev, said that the level of the RPL remains impressive, despite the departure of many legionnaires.
– RPL is one of the strongest championships in Europe. The fact that many legionnaires left does not change the essence. This league remains pretty impressive,” Kotev told Sport24.
25-year-old Kotev moved to Khimki from the Arda team in February 2023 and played 1 match in the RPL. The team of Andrey Talalaev previously lost the chance of maintaining a residence permit in the top division of the Russian championship.
