“He’s been bad-mouthed for months” – Oliver Kahn’s brother

The brother of former Bayern CEO Oliver Kahn noted that for many months the media did not show respect for Oliver, and the Munich club itself should have warned in advance about the decision to part with him.
“A decision like this is not made overnight. I would like Bayern to inform Oliver earlier, even met with him a few months before and explained that they want to leave in the summer.
We have always been able to disrespect our star athletes in Germany: Boris Becker, Michael Schumacher… Oliver has been bad-mouthed for months, every decision has been linked to him in a negative way. It was too much. We should show a little more respect
He’s doing pretty well. But I haven’t had any contact with Oliver in the last 1-2 days. Now he deserves to recover and calm down a bit,” said Axel Kahn.
Former goalkeeper Oliver Kahn played for the Munich club from 1994 to 2008, became an eight-time German champion, won the Champions League and the UEFA Cup.
