Midfielder of the Moscow “Torpedo” Ilya Kukharchuk said that everything changed in the club after the appointment of Josep Clotet as head coach.
The Spaniard Clotet headed Torpedo in March 2023. The club was in last place in the WORLD RPL table and eventually relegated to MELBET First League ahead of schedule.
– The result of the season for the team is unsatisfactory. What else could be the result if we flew out of the RPL?
Under Clotet, everything changed, of course. Each trainer has their own methods and style of work. I can say for myself that, as a professional footballer, I do not allow myself to emotionally react to such changes in the club. I try to just work,” Sport24 quotes Kukharchuk.
