Samara “Wings of the Soviets” defeated Moscow “Spartak” in the match of the 30th round of the WORLD of the Russian Premier League (RPL).
Saturday’s meeting in Samara ended with the score 1:0. Benjamin Garre scored the winning goal in the 53rd minute.
Red-and-white forward Quincy Promes failed to take a penalty in the 65th minute of the game: Samarts goalkeeper Yevgeny Frolov parried the shot and also managed to finish off.
In the first half, referee Alexei Amelin sent off Spartak defender Georgiy Jikia, who was on the bench, for arguing.
Krylya Sovetov scored 32 points and moved up to 12th place, avoiding participation in the play-offs. “Spartak” (54) won the bronze of the championship of Russia.
