Igor Osinkin said that next season he would continue to work as the head coach of the Samara Krylia Sovetov.
Earlier, journalist Ivan Karpov said that Rubin is considering the candidacy of a 57-year-old specialist for the post of head coach. On Friday, the general director of the Kazan club, Alexander Aibatov, denied Match TV information about interest in Osinkin.
– Are you in the Wings next season?
– Certainly! I’m here for now. I read this yesterday and I don’t even know. Let’s stand on the ground, – said Osinkin “Match TV”.
On Saturday, the Samara club beat Spartak Moscow in the final round of the WORLD RPL – 1: 0. Wings took 12th place in the RPL and avoided participation in the play-offs for a place in the elite of Russian football.
Osinkin has been heading Wings of the Soviets since 2020. In the 2020/21 season, the team under his leadership won the championship of the National Football League (FNL) and reached the RPL, and also reached the final of the Russian Cup.
