Krasnodar goalkeeper Matvey Safonov has not been happy with stability lately. Once the guarantor of the reliability of the “bulls” in defense, he lost a lot and no longer looks like a wall. And in the match of the last round of the championship of Russia, he disgraced himself at all, deciding to “play” with the ball in front of the penalty area.

In general, Safonov’s mistake is an absolutely egregious moment for the goalkeeper of the national team. A terrible reception of the ball made it much more difficult for him, but even in a critical situation, he could play much easier and more reliably by simply knocking out. On the one hand, of course, this is a loss out of the blue, but a pause would allow Krasnodar to return to defense.

Safonov generally ceased to resemble himself. Not without reason in recent matches, Vladimir Ivic preferred to frame Stanislav Agkatsev, who looked very good. Safonov is clearly going through a difficult time.

At the end of May, a scandal involving Matvey thundered. It turns out that the footballer demanded from his ex-wife Anastasia Kazachek that she give him her daughter Maya and pay alimony. In response, the goalkeeper received a portion of criticism, which produced the effect of an exploding bomb.

– Apparently, our great football player was blown away by money and permissiveness. During my pregnancy and after childbirth, he allowed himself to communicate with ladies with low social responsibility and did not even come to pick up his daughter from the hospital. And now he has filed a lawsuit,” Kazachek wrote on social networks.

Litigation, of course, does not contribute to peace of mind. How can you switch to the positive when the whole country calls you, in fact, a cheapskate and a lover of easy relationships?

But Krasnodar is ahead of the FONBET Russian Cup Superfinal against CSKA. It is possible that after what Safonov did, Ivic will again decide to entrust the gate to Agkatsev for the most important match of the season.
