Ibrahimovic announces retirement at 41

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has announced that he has decided to end his career.

The AC Milan striker announced his retirement from football after the match with Verona (3:1) Earlier, AC Milan announced that Ibrahimovic was leaving the club.

“It’s hard for me to breathe, but it’s okay. So many memories at the San Siro… It’s time to say goodbye to football,” Gianluca Di Marzio’s website quoted the player as saying.

Ibrahimovic returned to Milan in 2020, having previously played for the Rossoneri from 2010 to 2012 and became a two-time Italian champion with the team. He has 122 caps for Sweden.
