The former General Director of Spartak Yuri Zavarzin summed up the performance of the Red-Whites in the 2022/23 season.

Spartak took 3rd place in the WORLD RPL standings with 54 points. In the semi-finals of the 2nd stage of the Path of Regions of the FONBET Cup of Russia, the Red-Whites lost to Akron from MELBET-First League with a score of 1:2.
