“Yenisei” in the arena lost to “Fakel” in the first transitional match for the right to play in the RPL

Krasnoyarsk “Yenisei” in the minority lost to the Voronezh “Fakel” in the first FONBET Transitional match for the right to play in the WORLD of the Russian Premier League (RPL) next season.
The meeting, which took place in Krasnoyarsk in the arena “Football-Arena Enisey”, ended with a score of 1:0 in favor of the guests. The goal in the 77th minute was scored by striker Yevgeny Markov. The hosts’ midfielder Oleg Lanin was sent off in the 59th minute for kicking Igor Kalinin, who was lying on the lawn. Referee Sergey Karasev showed Lanin a red card after using the VAR system.

The winner of the two-legged confrontation will spend the next season in the elite division of Russian football. Fakel finished 14th in the RPL WORLD last season, Enisey finished fourth in the MELBET First League.
