PARI NN midfielder Vyacheslav Krotov, who previously played for Ufa, expressed regret over the situation in the former team and the departure of Shamil Gazizov from the post of general director of the club.

On Monday, Gazizov resigned from the post of general director of Ufa. The statement noted that he took the blame for the team’s results last season, following which it was relegated to the Second League. The leadership of the Ufa club accepted the resignation of the functionary.

– It’s all unpleasant. It’s sad for everything that happened. Within two years, the team ended up in the Second League. It is sad that Shamil Kamilych is gone. Because the man did a lot for the republic, for the club, led the team to the Premier League, to European competitions. It’s a pity that everything turned out this way, ”Krotov told RB Sport.

Gazizov has been the CEO of Ufa since 2012. During this time, the team entered the Russian Premier League and managed to play in the Europa League qualification. In the summer of 2020, the sports manager accepted the invitation of Spartak, but left the Moscow club a few months later, after which he returned to Ufa.
