Former Spartak footballer Valery Gladilin commented specifically for RB Sport on the desire of PARI NN midfielder Denis Glushakov to work as the head coach of the Red-Whites in the future.
Glushakov previously announced his desire to lead the capital club after the end of his playing career.
– It is difficult to say whether Glushakov can become a good coach. He needs to prove himself in this field and prove that he is able to cope well with this role. One desire is not enough, look, for example, at Mostovoy, he has been moving towards this for a long time, and only now has he started training, although Alexander is more experienced than Denis. Glushakov should not repeat this experience – you need to immediately start the coaching path if he decides to end his career. One game experience will not be enough to achieve success, you also need coaching experience.
Glushakov has the makings of a coach, but how he will be able to work in this position, only time will tell. First he needs to get a license, etc. The desire is good. The goal of leading Spartak is also good, and what soldier does not dream of becoming a general! Gladilin told RB Sport.
Glushakov defended the colors of Spartak from 2013 to 2019 and became the champion of Russia in the 2016/17 season. He currently performs at PARI NN.
