Yenisei head coach Alexei Ivakhov confirmed that Vadim Garanin is no longer on the coaching staff of the Krasnoyarsk club.

On Friday, Match TV reported that 52-year-old Garanin, who served as a senior coach, left the club in May. Previously, the specialist worked at the club in a similar position from December 2021 to June 2022, after which he held a position at Sochi for a short time. Since February, the club’s director Alexei Ivakhov has become the head coach of Yenisei.

– After a losing streak, they began to ask each other what the reason was. We saw a crisis in many aspects. We talked, figured it out, and decided that the ending would be carried out by another coaching staff, because the fourth place was slipping out of our hands. We parted normally and professionally.
