Manchester Police posted a joking post on social media about Manchester City winning the Champions League.
The meeting between the English team and the Italian “Inter” took place last Saturday in Istanbul and ended with the victory of the “townspeople” with a score of 1:0.
“We received information that expensive silverware was recently taken out of Istanbul. Among the suspects is a Spanish national who is believed to have led the group.
Intelligence suggests they may be on their way to Manchester… These tips will help keep you safe from a burglary,” Manchester Police said in a post.
Manchester City have won the Champions League for the first time in their history.
