The governor of the Kaliningrad region, Anton Alikhanov, told RB Sport that the task of Baltika is to gain a foothold in the top ten teams of the WORLD RPL.
The Kaliningrad club under the leadership of Sergei Ignashevich entered the RPL for the first time in 25 years.
“We retain regional funding, plus we have a big partner in the person of Rostec, which will significantly support the club,” Alikhanov began.
– What will be the ratio of this funding?
– Who will tell you? I won’t say for sure.
– What is the task of Baltika in the new season?
– The maximum task is to gain a foothold in the top ten. Let’s focus on that.
The new RPL season starts on July 23.
