Yuri Arakelyan, commercial director of Baltika, told Metaratings.ru that the team’s head coach Sergey Ignashevich is trying to support the ideas of the club’s development.

Ignashevich was appointed head coach of Baltika in October 2021. His team secured their participation in the RPL WORLD next season by finishing second in the MELBET First League ahead of schedule.

– How do the players react to your actions, Sergey Ignashevich?

– It is clear that the guys are focused on the game, but in general the reaction is positive, although somewhere we were on the verge, as with Satisfaction and Ufa. Sergei Nikolaevich Ignashevich is busy with work all the time. We do not interfere with his coaching the team, we try to make actions with the players as carefully as possible so as not to distract them, and he tries to assist us in all the moments that we ask for.

– Does Sergey Nikolayevich have the potential to become as discussed as Valery Karpin?

– Sergei Nikolaevich himself will answer this question best. But now he has become more open. I can not say that he forbids us a lot. We are very pleased with his evolution: for our film, we wanted to shoot his installation before the match, but it seemed like an impossible mission. However, at the match with Rubin, Sergei Nikolayevich went to meet us halfway. We will show in the film how the team prepared, what he said before the game and during the break.
