Former head coach of the Russian national team Boris Ignatiev believes that there are several players in Russia who can achieve success in Europe.
– There are several players in the RPL that I would be interested to see in the European leagues. For example, on the same Pinyaev.
There are many such players who lose internal competition in the championship to the Brazilians, who are able to adapt faster due to their playing skills in any team than our guys.
I would not give out any names, thereby selling people without anyone’s knowledge abroad, but in principle there are such players.
I would like some of the Russians to go to Europe and show themselves the way Alexander Golovin did in Monaco. We all the time think and talk about what kind of football we have. And we have football players of such a high caliber and skill who adequately represent our football at the foreign level,” Ignatiev told Gazeta.Ru.
At the moment, two Russians play in the top leagues of Europe – Alexander Golovin in the French “Monaco” and Alexei Miranchuk in the Italian “Torino”.
