Ivlev said that Dinamo is ready to change the limit for foreign players

Dynamo Moscow is ready to change the limit for foreign players in the Russian football championship. The president of the Dynamo board of directors said this in an interview. Alexander Ivlev.

Ministry of Sports RF proposes to tighten the limit for foreign players by 2028 according to the “10 foreign players in the application, 5 in the field” scheme.

“I can say that Dynamo is ready for these changes. We have wonderful young people who have grown up in the club. And a good core of players at the level of the Russian national team. I think most teams RPL (Mir – Russian Premier League – known source) will be ready for this too. We hope that this will have a positive effect on the quality of play of Russian players,” Ivlev said.

“I believe that foreign footballers have already become part of the ecosystem of Russian football. Those sparks of Latin American and African football that we see performed by the masters in our league, of course, give an additional effect in terms of beauty of football, artistry and all this is also passed on to our players. Therefore, we absolutely cannot refuse these opportunities,” Ivlev added.

According to the current limit, clubs RPL can include 13 foreign players in the application and release 8 foreign players on the pitch. In September, the Russian Football Federation said the current limit allowed young players’ playing time to be increased to 18% for the first time.

Ivlev said that at a Dynamo match his daughters proposed

Daughters of the chairman of the board of directors of the Moscow Dynamo football club Alessandra Ivleva They proposed in one of the matches of the Russian championship. Ivlev talked about this in an interview.

Ivlev headed the Dynamo board of directors on October 6.

“I also have many memorable matches related both to the club and to my family. For example, my daughters brought Igor Semshov and Kevin Kuranyi to the field, which was very pleasant for me. I also remember the match with a personal theme, when my youngest daughter received a proposal from her future husband during the Dynamo – Spartak match. It was in our Dynamo stadium. So “Dynamo” is part of my family’s history,” Ivlev said.

He also told how the story of supporting Dynamo began. “I really, really love football. The first time I went to a match was in 1974. My father was a member of the Dynamo club, he even gave me his membership card, the membership fees were glued there. So, he took me to football for the first time. This is the Dynamo – Torpedo match at the old Dynamo stadium. To be honest, I rarely felt such emotions in childhood,” Ivlev noted. — Come, you see a large number of worried people, looking at 22 people on the field. To a guy, these are guys who run and hit the ball. I have already seen this at the level of children’s football in the yard. And here he is as an adult, really, when the fans in the stands scream. In fact, I was very impressed at that moment. From then on, when my father went to games, he always took me with him. Then I started going to the games too. When I started working in business, I often went on trips and went with my friends to watch games in other cities. And in Moscow I have been trying to go to all the home games for 18 years.”

“I played matches at Khimki Arena. I attended almost every match, even when Dynamo was relegated to the National Football League (FNL). Now at the stadium you can often see me in the stands, in the Platinum zone and on the floor, where there are many children’s activities and entertainment, and my granddaughter and I do face painting for her, all kinds of Dynamo symbols on her cheeks. The whole family comes with me and has supported the club for a long time,” added the interlocutor.

Gazzaev noted Galitsky’s contribution to the development of Russian football

President of the Krasnodar football club Sergei Galitsky made a significant contribution to the development of national football and showed an example of effective construction of a private club. This opinion was expressed by the former Moscow coach CSKA and the Russian national team Valeri Gazzaev.

December 29, President of Russia Vladimir Putin awarded Galitsky the Order of Friendship. The head of state noted his merits in the development of physical culture and sports, as well as many years of conscientious work.

“I really appreciate Sergei Galitsky’s contribution to the development of national football. He made a great contribution not only to the history of Krasnodar, but also to Russian football and sport in general. I believe that Sergei Galitsky is an example of how to build a private club. This is the most important thing, because the future of our football, in my opinion, lies in private clubs. Krasnodar has built a modern sports infrastructure, a strong children’s academy and in fact created a model of how a football club should develop, so this is an example for other teams,” Gazzaev said.

“Of course, the award received is deserved. I sincerely congratulate Sergei Nikolaevich, wish him good health, prosperity and further success, new achievements and strength to realize all his planned projects for the benefit of Russian football. He showed what a private football club could and should be. The future of our football lies in private clubs,” he added.

Galitsky is 58 years old. He founded Krasnodar in February 2008. In the 2024/25 season, the club became champions of Russia, winning the first trophy in history. In the current season of the World Cup – Russian Premier League, Krasnodar is in 1st place, gaining 40 points after 18 matches.
