“The feeling that 2008 was like yesterday” – Fayzulin about the retro match

Former Zenit midfielder Viktor Fayzulin admitted that he was happy to play in the League of Legends Stavok League retro match, which took place on Thursday at the Gazprom Arena in St. Petersburg.
Faizulin played in the “Zenith” of the 2008 model. Petersburgers played against the legends of the Russian team. The meeting ended with the score 1:1.
— I have never played at the Gazprom Arena. I am very happy to perform here. Insanely cool atmosphere, a lot of fans came. I haven’t seen many of the guys for a long time, now we’re talking to them. I have only positive emotions from the event.
It feels like 2008 was like yesterday. It was one well-coordinated mechanism – a very cool time, – Fayzulin told the Championship.
The match was held as part of the sports program of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), the game was timed to coincide with the 15th anniversary of the victory of the Blue-White-Blues in the UEFA Cup and the bronze medals of the national team at Euro 2008.
