“Perhaps Lokomotiv will fight for the championship next season” – Shishkin
Former Lokomotiv football player Roman Shishkin believes that the Moscow team can fight for the championship if they show the same good football as in the second part of last season.
– Lokomotiv has played two different laps this season. In the second half of the season we saw a new coach, new transfers. I expect that Lokomotiv, which was on the rise in the second round, will only get better.
Perhaps there will be some point enhancements, but in general, Galaktionov’s work is visible. Now they will spend enough time at the training camp. I expect that next season the railway workers will be where they should be.
In the second round of the RPL, Lokomotiv is in the top three teams in the league, in my opinion. Therefore, if the guys show the same good football throughout the season, then perhaps the team will fight for the championship,” Shishkin told Metaratings.ru.
At the end of the season, MIR RPL Lokomotiv scored 45 points and took eighth place in the standings.
