Spartak forward Nicholson refused to move to Anderlecht – media
Spartak striker Shamar Nicholson refused to move to the Belgian Anderlecht, according to Metaratings.ru.
According to the source, the club was ready to buy the striker for 5 million euros. The reason for the refusal of the Jamaican was the salary offered by Anderlecht. The club wanted to pay Nicholson 400,000 euros less than he earns at Spartak. Under the current contract, the player’s salary is 1.8 million euros per year, as well as bonuses.
The 26-year-old striker moved to the Moscow club in January 2022 from the Belgian Charleroi. In the past season, WORLD RPL Nicholson played 22 matches in which he scored three goals.
