Rostov midfielder Khoren Bayramyan told RB Sport that he did not shave his head after a dispute with the team’s head coach Valery Karpin.
Earlier, the coach and the football player argued for the place of Rostov following the results of the RPL: Bayramyan said that the team would finish in the top three, Karpin that it would not, and the loser had to shave baldly. At the same time, Karpin told Sport24 the following: “In this situation, there was just a conversation with the whole team, they didn’t beat them on the hands. So I won’t insist that he shave his head.”
“Valery Georgievich has already said everything,” Bayramyan noted. We didn’t really have any dispute. I can neither add nor subtract to his words.
“So you haven’t shaved yet and don’t plan to?”
– Not yet.
Rostov finished fourth in the WORLD RPL standings at the end of the season. The team was also eliminated from the FONBET Cup of Russia at the stage of the first stage of the semi-finals of the Path of Regions, losing to the future finalist Krasnodar on penalties.
