I don’t find anything strange. Malcolm had previously been called up to the Brazilian national team for friendly matches, then he simply did not have a chance to play. But together with Brazil, he became the champion of the Olympics.

– Do you think it is possible that some other Brazilian Zenit players will be called up to the national team in the foreseeable future?

– I don’t know, but I’m sure that Malcolm’s example will inspire other Brazilians from Zenit.
