Fakel defender Bozhin spoke about the invitation of CSKA

Fakel defender and former Wings of the Soviets player Sergey Bozhin said that CSKA was negotiating his transfer, but it didn’t come to signing the contract.
– When I played for Torpedo, we negotiated with CSKA, but they did not go far. I do not know what it is connected with. The agent said that there was interest. But if the interest is strong, it usually comes to a contract. At the time, I wasn’t too upset. The plans were to go with Torpedo to the RPL. We were in second or first place. I really liked working under the leadership of Ignashevich. Everything suited. And then, I realized that in CSKA the competition is even higher, and it’s not a fact that I would play there. And Torpedo offered a new contract. But then the pandemic began, we didn’t get into the RPL, and that was the end of the story,” Bozhin told the Championship.
Last season, Bozhin played 27 matches, scored 2 goals and made 3 assists.
