Khimki defender Petar Golubovich told RB Sport that he is ready to stay in the Moscow Region club if there are high goals.
The 28-year-old Serb has been playing for the Red-Blacks since March 2023 and has made 12 appearances for the team. Previously, Khimki lost the chance to retain a place in the top division of the championship of Russia for the next season.
— It is difficult to say something definite now. I remain a Khimki player, I have one more year of the contract. I will come to the training camp, we will all sit down at the table together and discuss everything. The club may decide that I’m definitely staying. But it would be right to discuss everything, to understand what ambitions for the next season, what tasks. Although, as I understand it, the goal is to return to the Premier League. If the club does not have ambitions, it will also be difficult for me to give 100 percent to the cause,” said Golubovich.
