Former Russian footballer Maxim Demenko believes that Antalyaspor midfielder Fernando would be useful to RPL clubs that are outside the top 3.
Fernando is a defensive midfielder. As for Spartak, there are now defensive midfielders there. At the same time, I think that Abascal would not mind if such a player came to his team. Fernando is 31 years old, which means that for a couple of years he will play at a good level for sure. Plus he has experience. But does Spartak need it?
I would say that Fernando would be useful to any RPL club. But I’m not talking about the top three. Other clubs would love to get such a player. Well, I’ll also include Krasnodar among those clubs where Fernando is hardly needed much,” Demenko told Euro‑Futbol.Ru.
Fernando played for Spartak in 2016-2019. The 31-year-old Brazilian is now estimated by Transfermarkt at 2.1 million euros.
