Hannover midfielder Gael Ondua told RB Sport that he does not regret his action at the World Cup in Qatar, where he played in boots with the image of the Russian flag.
– Do I regret that I played at the World Cup in Qatar in boots with the flag of Russia? No. I never regret my actions. Every person should have honor, no matter what happens in life. And you also have to be responsible for your actions, which I do,” said Ondua.
Ondua has lived in Russia since childhood and began his playing career at Lokomotiv Moscow. From 2018 to 2019, he played for Anji. The Cameroon national team at the 2022 World Cup failed to reach the playoffs.
