Petrushin agreed with the choice of Tyukavin as the best player of the season in Dynamo

Former Dynamo Moscow head coach Alexei Petrushin told Euro-Futbol.Ru that he agrees with the choice of forward Konstantin Tyukavin by the fans as the best player of the Moscow club in the 2022/23 season.

– Fans named Tyukavin the best player of the season. Do you agree with them?

I guess I agree with them. Smolov did not speak very brightly, they expected a lot from Zakharyan, I personally sympathize with him. The failure of the transfer to Chelsea played against him, he simply disappeared. Probably, I will name the best player of the season in Tyukavin. Bribes that he does not whine. They give him a few minutes at the end – he plows and wins his place in the composition.

– Is Fomin a rival of Tyukavin in this matter?

He didn’t look as bright as last year. I don’t blame him, it concerns the whole team. Fomin passed a little compared to last season, from my point of view.

– What do you attribute his game decline to?

– Maybe he was so affected by a miss in the final of the Russian Cup with Spartak. This is my guess.

In the season ended, 20-year-old Tyukavin made 38 appearances in all competitions, scoring 10 goals and making seven assists.

Dynamo in the 2022/23 season took ninth place in the Russian Championship.
