RFU approved the rules of the Russian Premier League for the new season
The Russian Football Union (RFU) approved the regulations of the WORLD RPL season 2023/24, the press service of the RFU reports.
The main change is bringing the regulations in line with the law on sports, which determines the need to approve the “competition schedule” of the All-Russian Sports Federation.
– The League will continue to develop the structure and paired competition calendar, and then send it to the RFU for approval. This will harmonize the competition calendar, taking into account the synchronization of the RPL calendar and the Russian Cup.
It is noted that the new regulation has not undergone significant changes.
The start of the season 2023/24 MIR RPL is tentatively scheduled for July 23, 2023.
