Mario Fernandez will return to CSKA, said Giner

Defender Mario Fernandez will return to CSKA Moscow, said the president of the army club Evgeny Giner.
Fernandez has been defending the colors of the Red-Blues since 2012, as part of the army team, the footballer won the Russian championship three times and became the owner of the Russian Cup. In May 2022, Fernandez put his career on hold and returned to Brazil. In April, the Brazilian Internacional, for which the 32-year-old played on loan, terminated the contract with the defender.

“Yes,” the Match TV website quoted Giner as saying.
From 2017 to 2021, the football player defended the colors of the Russian national team, including speaking at the 2018 World Cup. Fernandez played 33 matches for the team and scored five goals.
