Sochi goalkeeping coach Dmitry Borodin told RB Sport that the club will set maximum goals for the next season.

– Now I’m not ready to talk about plans and tasks – we want to first of all understand the potential of the players, on whom we can rely. A team is being formed, and only after, probably, a month, when the preparation is over, will there be an understanding of what tasks we will set. Of course, I would like to draw the right conclusions from last season and move forward. Because Sochi, with its recent successes, reaching the Conference League and silver, proved that the club, although young, is ambitious. We do not want to hang out somewhere in the middle, I think the tasks will be maximum as always.

– Probably, in this regard, the example of Krasnodar inspires? Also a young club, but played in the Cup final…

– And Rostov should not be discounted. Valery Georgievich has assembled an excellent team, it’s a shame that they were a little short at the end of the season to get into the prizes. And they played well and organized. For me it was a revelation.
