On Thursday, the executive committee of the RFU approved the rules of the Cup of Russia for the next season. The draw of the tournament will be held according to the double elimination scheme, which was tested last season. One change has appeared in the regulations: the finals of the Path of Regions will now consist of one match. The team that loses in the finals of the RPL Path will leave the tournament, and will not play with the winner of the finals of the Path of Regions, as was the case in the previous Cup draw.
