Former Spartak goalkeeping coach dies

Former goalkeeping coach of Spartak Moscow and Arsenal, Yuri Pereskokov, has died at the age of 60, Valery Grinkovsky, general director of Tula, told Match TV.
Pereskokov died on Friday, the cause of death was not reported.
– Today we learned the sad news that Yuri Valentinovich Pereskokov passed away. We express our condolences to the family and relatives, colleagues,” Grinkovsky told Match TV.
Pereskokov worked with Spartak goalkeepers from 2003 to 2007. The specialist worked at Arsenal in 2021-2023. He is also known for his work in Chernomorets from Novorossiysk, Khimki near Moscow and Ufa. As a footballer, he won the RSFSR Cup with Krasnaya Presnya in 1985.
