Wendel will join Zenit in the near future, said Medvedev

The chairman of the board of the Zenit football club, Alexander Medvedev, said that midfielder Wendel will join the team in the near future.
The Brazilian footballer is absent from the Blue-White-Blues, who have begun preparations for the 2023/24 season.
“Vendel will join Zenit in the near future,” Medvedev is quoted by Match TV.
Wendel made 33 appearances for the team last season, scoring nine goals and providing five assists.
Zenit is one of the participants in the international PARI Premier Cup, which will be held from July 1 to 15 at the Gazprom Arena and Smena stadiums in St. Petersburg. Fenerbahce (Istanbul, Turkey), Neftchi (Baku) and Crvena Zvezda (Belgrade) will also perform at the tournament. All games of the PARI Premier Cup will be shown live on Match TV and MATCH PREMIER.
