“Gbumble has the potential to become a really high-level player” – CEO of Akhmat

Akhmat General Director Akhmed Aidamirov told RB Sport that the newcomer to the Grozny club, Nene Gbamble, has the potential to become a high-quality player.
– In the spring, many people were surprised by Nene Gbamble. Do you see him as a player who could be sold in the top 5 leagues in Europe in the future?
“If we didn’t see potential in him, he wouldn’t be on our team. As for Europe, now it is difficult for us to talk about it, since we are under sanctions. We can’t sell anyone there. Or rather, we can sell, but we will not receive money. And so, Gbumble has the potential to become a really high-level player. And how he will develop it is another question.
The 21-year-old Ivorian joined Akhmat from Celje in January 2023. This season he played 21 matches, scored 3 goals and made 3 assists.
