“Rostov” will not get into the top 5 RPL next season, Balakhnin believes
Rostov will not claim a place in the top 5 at the end of the next season of the WORLD RPL, according to the former head coach of Rostov Sergey Balakhnin.
The new RPL season starts on July 23.
– Now it is difficult to talk about how Rostov will perform next season. We need to see how the team will prepare at the training camp, what players will come. But I think that Rostov will not get into the top 5 next season: the competitors will intensify, they will not let Karpin’s team go ahead. Lokomotiv, Krasnodar and Dynamo are the clubs that will compete for a place in the top 5 next season, Balakhnin told RB Sport.
Rostov finished fourth in the RPL WORLD at the end of the 2022/23 season.
