Leonel Messi starred in a television series.
Leo played the role of himself in one of the episodes of the Argentine TV series “Los Protectores” (“Defenders”). Messi appeared in the first episode of the second season. According to the storyline, three agents, trying to avoid bankruptcy, convince Leo to play for a different Argentine club every day during the holidays in order to make a profit.
The scene was filmed in June 2022 in Paris, in the house where Messi lived during his performances for PSG.
