The youth football team of Georgia played a draw with the team of the Netherlands in the third round of the group stage of the European Youth Championship.

The meeting was held in Tbilisi and ended with the score 1:1. As part of the Georgians, the ex-player of Rubin and Tula Arsenal Zuriko Davitashvili became the author of the goal, the Dutch midfielder Kenneth Taylor scored an accurate shot. The Georgian team advanced to the playoffs of the tournament from the first place in Group A, scoring 5 points. The second place was taken by the team of Portugal, who defeated Belgium with a score of 2:1. The Portuguese also reached the playoffs of the tournament.

In the group B match, the Spanish national team played a draw with Ukraine (2:2). Both teams have secured a place in the playoffs. Teams of Croatia and Romania also could not determine the winner – 0:0.

The European Youth Championship takes place in Romania and Georgia from June 21 to July 8.
