Manchester United footballer Anthony denies assault allegations against his ex-girlfriend and vowed to “clear his name” after questioning by police in Brazil, reports The Sun.
The ex-girlfriend of the football player, Gabriela Cavallini, went to the police, claiming that the striker attacked her in Sao Paulo and then in Manchester. In total, the girl accused Anthony of four attacks, filing a complaint with the São Paulo police.
The football player said that he was sure that his innocence would be proven, and the damage to his image “will be a thing of the past.”
