“Maccabi” from Haifa made a request to “PARI NN” for the Malian midfielder with Russian citizenship Mamadou Maiga, according to Metaratings.ru.
The football player himself confirmed that there is interest in him from Israel. It is noted that Maccabi is ready to buy out the contract of a 28-year-old player for an amount of about 1 million euros, excluding bonuses for the performance of the Malian in European competition.
Maiga played 30 matches for PARI NN in all competitions last season, scoring one goal.
Maccabi Haifa is the reigning champion of Israel.
PARI NN took 13th place in the Russian Championship last season and, following the results of the play-offs with Rodina, retained its registration in the RPL. The Nizhny Novgorod team will start the season with a home match against the reigning champions Zenit.
