“What are you, a fool, or what?” Emotional video with the president of the RPL club became a hit

Ural recently returned from vacation and began preparing for the new season. Surprisingly, just a few days after the start of work, the team from Yekaterinburg was already in an unusual situation. The longtime head of the club, Grigory Ivanov, gave a spectacular performance during a friendly match.

June 21 “Ural” came out of vacation. The players underwent a medical examination, and the next day they had their first training session. The team of Viktor Gancharenko will have to do a lot of work so as not to fight for survival in the RPL again.

The Ural team is actively strengthening its ranks in the transfer market. Recently signed 28-year-old Portuguese defender Kiki. He was accompanied by the left winger of the youth team Igor Dmitriev, as well as experienced defensive midfielder Timur Ayupov. Also in the Urals they are trying to keep the goalkeeper Ilya Pomazun, who is now being watched by teams from Spain and Germany.

In preparation for the new season, Ural has a good tradition. The team goes to the settlements of the Sverdlovsk region, where they play matches with local teams. Last year, for example, “bumblebees” held a game in Nizhny Tagil. Before that, the team performed in Mikhailovsk, in Kamensk-Uralsky, in Pervouralsk …

This year, Ural went to Alapaevsk, where they played a game with the local amateur team Triumph. The arrival of the Premier League team aroused great interest. The wooden stands of the old stadium were overcrowded. Spectators watched the game, even sitting on the scoreboard!

This interest is explained quite simply. “Ural” brought the main players to the match in Alapaevsk, which the locals watched through TV screens and monitors. Even the injured captain Eric Bikfalvi came to support the “bumblebees”. A crowd of local boys lined up in line for the footballer’s autograph.

The result of the match was predetermined. The local footballers lacked the skill to put up a decent resistance to the professionals from the RPL, despite their full dedication. 13 unanswered goals flew into the Triumph gate. But the football festival in Alapaevsk faded into the background a little in the media after the appearance of a video in which the president of Ural, Grigory Ivanov, lit up.

The leader, who is famous for never reaching into his pocket for a word, got into a skirmish with a policeman. The president of the team, along with his family, did not want to be allowed on the bench of his own team!

– Are you crazy?! What are you, a fool, or what? – Ivanov reprimanded the servant of order with his characteristic emotionality.

This tirade of the functionary went on for more than a minute. The spectators who recognized Ivanov were amused by the episode. Only the intervention of people from the Ural bench helped to solve the unusual situation, and Grigory Viktorovich nevertheless got to the team.

Ivanov himself, apparently, is one of those people who quickly catches fire and cools down just as quickly. In a conversation with journalists, the functionary was already much less categorical in his judgments.

— There was no unpleasant situation. Didn’t say anything to anyone. The man did his job, he is a police officer and followed the order – do not let anyone in, that’s all. Nothing supernatural. Then the head of the team came up, explained it to him, and everything was decided, there was nothing terrible about it, ”Ivanov told Match TV.
