Ex-football player of CSKA advised Chalov not to leave for Europe and follow the example of Akinfeev
Former CSKA football player Vladimir Ponomarev said that the forward of the Moscow club Fedor Chalov should not leave for a European club yet.
The current contract of the 25-year-old striker with the Moscow club runs until the end of 2024.
– Chalov is best to stay in CSKA. We must take an example from Akinfeev, who did not twitch anywhere and did not want to go anywhere. Igor is a good example for young players.
Why should Chalov rush somewhere? He is not of the level of a player to play in Europe. Fedor can only show himself in CSKA. Let’s see how he plays next season. Chalov has not such serious data to play in good teams in Europe. Fedor has already played in Switzerland, and no one paid any attention to him. You have to be a patriot of the team.
Why go anywhere in the current situation? They called to France, but it is unlikely that he will play there. Golovin is a football player with character, he was able to play there. Alexander works like Papa Carlo, so he stayed at Monaco. They don’t like such filons as Chalov. I would not recommend him to leave for Europe, – quotes the words of Ponomarev “RB Sport”.
In the 2022/23 season, Chalov became the owner of the Russian Cup and the silver medalist of the championship as part of CSKA. The striker has scored 24 goals and made six assists in 41 matches in all club competitions.
