The Spanish Selection Sub 21 keep moving to euro cup of the category and is just one step away from the final of the event and also from qualifying for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, after facing Swiss in the quarterfinals.

After finishing top of their group, Spain had this key game against Switzerland and won it 2-1 after extra time to advance to the semi-finals. Then all these left his party Under 21 option.

How was Spain vs. Swiss? Result, summary and objectives

Spain beat Switzerland 2-1 in Bucharest, Romania, with goals from Sergio Gomez and Juan Miranda.

Manchester City’s Gomez opened the scoring after 68 minutes, but when everything looked set in Spain’s favour, Switzerland managed to go into extra time with Zeki Amdouni’s goal in the 90+1 minute.

Finally, Betis’ Juan Miranda advanced to the semi-finals in Spain with a goal in the 13th minute of the first half of extra time.

Spain will now face the winner of Sunday’s match between France and Ukraine in the semi-finals. Except, If France or England (or both) win tomorrow, they will qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics.. If not, he will have a double chance to get it next week, either as a finalist or by finishing in third place.
