Dynamo head coach Marcel Lichka said that he was not contacted from the Czech Republic amid the decision of the country’s government to ban its athletes from competing in Russia.
Earlier, the Czech government agreed to ban Russians from participating in competitions in the country. The corresponding proposal was received from the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic. The government also banned its athletes from competing in Russia.
– There were no calls from the Czech Republic. This is my life and I decide. No one will ever tell me what to do. They are there and I am here. I will do what I want. You can’t persuade me, ”Match TV quotes Lichka.
The Czech specialist has been working in Russia since 2020. Previously, he headed Orenburg.
The new RPL season starts on July 21-23. In the first round, Dynamo will play at home with Krasnodar.
